Cannes Lions 2018 – Julian Day’s LBB Beach Survival Guide

The sun is shining and the creatives are hunting down their passports, that must mean one thing. ZOO is at it again, co-hosting the LBB & Friends Beach at the Cannes Lions 2018 – running from 19 to 22 June. Julian and Joe will be joining friends from across the international ad industry and we’d love to arrange your exclusive invitation to join us.

Organised by our good friends at Little Black Book, The Beach has become theplace to network, make deals, socialise, grab lunch and hold meetings in a relaxed, seaside environment – for members and guests by invitation only.

It’s not often you get to have a business meeting by the sea, so ZOO’s Julian Day has put together some wise words and essential tips for making the most out of your trip to Cannes.

Firstly, who will be there?

Me! Julian Day, Director of Business Development – and ‘Clever’ Joe Parkes, Senior Producer.

What will you be talking about?

The stuff you don’t want to think about but need more and more – captions, subtitles, audio description and language dubbing for ads, promos, trailers, TV and movies.

The Beach is part of Cannes Lions, one of the biggest celebrations of creativity, bringing together the world’s most inventive and talented people in the advertising and creative industries. That’s why it’s the perfect place to feature our super-fast, great-value subtitling and audio description services for TV ads.
