EVR Holdings plc Indicative launch timing for the MelodyVR app

EVR Holdings plc (LON:EVRH), the leading creator of virtual reality music content, has today announced that its subsidiary MelodyVR Ltd (‘MelodyVR’) intends to launch its flagship music product (The MelodyVR app) in the coming weeks.

In advance of the Company’s partners, such as Facebook/Oculus imminently commencing marketing activities relating to MelodyVR, the company is pleased to announce its intention of launching MelodyVR for Facebook/Oculus’s yet to be released VR device known as ‘Oculus Go’. The Company intends to provide further updates in due course.

Anthony Matchett, Executive Chairman of EVR Holdings Plc, said: “Oculus Go signifies a step-change for the VR industry. To-date, millions of VR devices have been sold, yet the technology has mainly been utilised by ‘early-adopters’ due to either the size, complexity or cost of hardware. Oculus Go, a $199 standalone VR device, requiring no wires, sensors or additional hardware is in my opinion, the world’s first ‘mainstream’ VR headset. A combination of high-quality resolution, low-cost of purchase and ‘pick up and play’ functionality will now enable millions of mainstream consumers to engage with and enjoy VR experiences like never-before. We’re thrilled to be working with Facebook/Oculus in advance of the launch of this exciting product and I look forward to sharing further information with shareholders as our marketing activity increases across both our own, and our partners channels in the run-up to the public launch of MelodyVR.”
