TÜV SÜD, the leading German technical service provider, extends its Proactis solution to drastically improve customer experience

Proactis, the global spend management and B2B eCommerce company, has announced that TÜV SÜD, the testing and product/system certification, inspection and auditing specialist has gone live with a new intuitive procurement interface, implementing UI5 with Proactis’ new UX/UI for Catalogue and Search functionality.

The company has over 1,000 outlets, in 57 countries and employs more than 24,000 employees. It initially selected Proactis to create a centralised procurement function and to automate the procurement process throughout the business.

Working with Proactis, TÜV SÜD implemented a strategy with four pillars for procurement – governance, tools, processes, organisation. Using Proactis Catalogue and Search functionality through The Business Network, it was able to reduce off-contract, maverick spend from 43.4% to 13.8% from 2014-2018, while procurement IT usage rose from 121,000 purchase order line items to 254,000 over the same period.
