Yew Grove REIT AGM to take place on 29 May 2020

As set out in the notices of annual general meeting and extraordinary general meeting issued by the Company on 29 April 2020, the annual general meeting of Yew Grove REIT PLC (LON:YEW) is scheduled to take place at 12 noon on 29 May 2020 at 6th Floor, 2 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland and the extraordinary general meeting is scheduled to take place at 12.15p.m. (or, if later, immediately following the conclusion of the AGM) on the same date and at the same location.

Following the publication, on 1 May 2020, of the Irish Government’s roadmap to ease Covid-19 restrictions and reopen Ireland’s economy and society, significant restrictions on internal gatherings of people not from the same household will remain in place on 29 May 2020. Accordingly, shareholders are requested not to attend either the AGM or the EGM in person and instead to submit a proxy form to ensure they can vote and be represented at both the AGM and the EGM without attending in person.

The Company regrets the need to take this step but considers the well-being of shareholders, employees and attendees a top priority. Yew Grove encourages all shareholders to avail of the other methods outlined below to ensure effective shareholder participation at both the AGM and the EGM.

Voting

All resolutions at each of the AGM and the EGM will be put to a poll (which incorporates proxy votes received prior to the meetings) and the Company will publish the results of each poll later in the day on its website. Proxy voting can be carried out in advance of the AGM and the EGM in one of the following ways: (1) by completing the Proxy Forms enclosed with the notice of AGM and the notice of EGM, (2) via the registrar’s website at www.signalshares.com or (3) via the CREST electronic proxy appointment service for those shareholders who are CREST members. In light of the restrictions, shareholders should appoint the chairman of the meeting as their proxy.

Questions

Shareholders may submit questions relating to the business of either meeting in advance (so as to be received by no later than 12 noon on Thursday, 28 May 2020) by email to info@ygreit.com.

Updates

The Board encourages shareholders to check Regulatory Information Services and the Company’s website www.ygreit.com for any updates in relation to the AGM and the EGM. Shareholders are also encouraged to keep up-to-date with Government announcements and to follow Health Service Executive/World Health Organization guidance.
