Strat Aero plc to present at the Unmanned Systems Institute 2015 conference

Chief Executive Officer of Aero Kinetics, W. Strat Aero plc, the AIM listed international aerospace company focused on the rapidly emerging Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (“UAV”) sector, has told DirectorsTalk it will be presenting at the Unmanned Systems Institute (USI) 2015 Conference on the future of unmanned systems. W. Hulsey Smith, Chief Executive Officer of Aero Kinetics, a division of Strat Aero US Holdings, Inc., which is a subsidiary of Strat Aero, will speak on a panel discussion entitled “Future Growth and Innovation in Unmanned Systems” on 16 December 2015 in San Diego, America.  

 

The discussion will focus on innovations in unmanned systems technology that will become part of daily life worldwide in the next 10, 20 and 50 years.  W. Hulsey Smith will be presenting along with other esteemed speakers such as Keith Kaplan, Chief Executive Officer Tesla Foundation/UAVSA; Helmuth Ritzer, Chief Technology Officer moovel; and Alain Kornhauser, Director of Transportation Program at Princeton University.

 

According to the USI, “The mission of this educational forum is to drive innovation and the effective use of unmanned technology throughout the private sector, government and commercial industries by bringing together thought leaders and innovators from all stakeholders in the unmanned systems landscape.”

 

The panel presentation will include discussions on envisioning the ways unmanned systems may be used in the future; showing the enormous growth of the industry; understanding how unmanned systems will be “everyday” for future generations; and learning about which technologies are at the forefront of this new way of life.  Strat Aero continues to lead the way in discussions on unmanned systems, with its subsidiary Aero Kinetics having recently released a study on the dangers of toy drones.  Strat Aero focuses on advancements in the emerging Unmanned Aircraft industry for clients across the globe.
