Advanced Oncotherapy (LON:AVO), the developer of next-generation proton therapy systems for cancer treatment, announces that Dr Nick Plowman, Non-Executive Director, will invest GBP250,000 in the Company.
The investment will be satisfied through the issue of 833,333 new ordinary shares of 25 pence nominal value in the capital of the Company at a price of 30p per New Share. Application will be made for the New Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM (“Admission”) on or around 12 May 2017.
Dr Nick Plowman is the UK’s senior radiotherapist and was appointed as Non-Executive Director of the Company in February 2017, having been Chairman of the Medical Advisory Board since October 2013. Dr Plowman is Senior Clinical Oncologist at St Bartholomew’s Hospital (“Barts”) and the Hospital for Sick Children at Great Ormond Street (“GOSH”) in London.
Following Admission, Dr Plowman will hold 3,470,132 Ordinary Shares, representing 4.58% of the enlarged issued share capital.
