Online used car enquiries surge 25% in first half

Online used car enquiries have surged 25.2% in the first half of 2018 compared to the same period in 2017.

The increase came as online new car enquiries went into reverse, down -4.1%, according to data from showroom management specialist Dealerweb.

The Dealerweb figures back the findings of a recent report from Close Brothers Motor Finance, which found that 95% of UK dealers expect their business to grow in 2018, a significant increase on last year’s 63%.
