A London hotel repurposed into a lab is preparing to be the first in the world to infect humans with Covid.
The Whitechapel Hotel in the city’s East End is hosting a groundbreaking trial that took more than a year to be set up.
Volunteers prepared to see how they fare against the virus will be paid about £3000 to £4000 ($A5537 to $A7382) in a tax-free reimbursement.
Open Orphan (LON:ORPH) was founded in 2017, with the goal of rapidly building Europe’s leading pharma services company by a management team with extensive industry and financial expertise. The company comprises of two commercial specialist CRO services businesses (Venn Life Sciences and hVIVO) and is also developing a genomics data platform business (Genomic Health Data).
