Board maker Concurrent Technologies in the UK has launched a development system for customised SOSA sensor systems based on VPX cards.
The Vulcan system has been designed in alignment with the SOSA Technical Standard and is based on the popular 3U VPX form factor. The aim is to provides support for customers starting VPX projects based on Intel processor cards. The SOSA standard for sensor interoperability is driven by the US military but is being adopted in other countries.
