The Challenge
Stanvac-Superon Group, an India-based manufacturer of industrial repair and maintenance solutions for the power, cement, mining, sugar, construction, and pulp and paper industries, was in need of a coating that could improve the efficiency of their power transmission equipment and reduce their carbon footprint.
The company identified a potential solution in conductive graphene nanoplatelets. The use of this technology could address the issue of overheating and failure in LT/HT, copper, and aluminium joints, which results in a significant loss of electricity across power transmission systems.
A Collaborative Solution
Following successful testing with the support of AGM’s expert chemists, a new protective, conductive coating was developed incorporating AGM’s high-quality A-GNP35 graphene dispersions.
Applied Graphene Materials plc (LON:AGM) manufacture production ready graphene based Genable® dispersions, with product integration expertise to deliver multi-functional performance enhancements across a wide range of applications.
