Arbuthnot Latham celebrates a year of success with remarkable milestones

Arbuthnot Latham reflects on a transformative 2024, showcasing exceptional growth, client satisfaction, community impact, and team achievements. The company’s dedication to building meaningful relationships and delivering tailored financial solutions has driven its success, making this year a defining chapter in its journey.

The past year saw Arbuthnot Latham welcome over 1,000 new clients, achieving a significant milestone of £2 billion in funds under management and administration, reflecting an impressive 18% growth within the first nine months. This growth is a testament to the trust placed by clients in the company’s bespoke financial expertise and the collective dedication of its teams.

Client satisfaction remained central to Arbuthnot Latham’s success, with 95% of clients expressing delight in its service and 97% acknowledging the value of its expert guidance. Such resounding feedback underscores the firm’s unwavering commitment to delivering excellence and prioritising clients’ financial wellbeing.

The company’s investment in talent was equally remarkable, with 130 new colleagues joining the team, contributing diverse skills and insights. Celebrating 450 years of combined experience across its workforce highlights the depth of knowledge that drives Arbuthnot Latham’s reputation for outstanding service.

Marking 30 years in Exeter, the firm has evolved from its origins in niche short-term property lending to becoming a comprehensive private bank supporting individuals and businesses. This journey of growth was complemented by the opening of its prestigious new London head office at 20 Finsbury Circus, a thoughtfully restored 19th-century building blending historic charm with modern vibrancy.

Arbuthnot Latham’s Exeter team has grown significantly, expanding from 12 colleagues in 2016 to 46 experts today. Rob Salisbury, Head of the Exeter Office, highlights the unique client relationships built through a collaborative and personalised approach, fostering connections that extend beyond traditional banking.

The company’s commitment to community impact also took centre stage in 2024. Teams dedicated 281 days to volunteering, supported key initiatives like donating 157 laptops to schoolchildren, and strengthened their corporate responsibility efforts through philanthropy and payroll giving. These actions reflect Arbuthnot Latham’s belief that success is measured by giving back as much as achieving results.

The year’s achievements were celebrated with nine prestigious awards recognising both the company’s excellence and the outstanding contributions of its people. Events hosted for over 1,600 clients deepened relationships, further cementing the firm’s reputation as a trusted financial partner.

As Arbuthnot Latham enters 2025, it does so with gratitude for its clients, colleagues, and communities, committed to building on this momentum and continuing to shape meaningful financial journeys.
