Augean North Sea Services provide High Pressure Cleaning services

Shell required Augean North Sea Services (ANSS) to provide an innovative and supportive approach to the end of well OBM clean up at the end of SW01s1 on-board the Noble Hans Deul.

Historically there had been previous attempts with limited success at cleaning the built up residues inside the mud pump’s 16” pipework. These efforts had been both time consuming and labour intensive and resulted in additional rig time.

The ANSS offshore supervisor proposed that a new approach could be introduced and suggested the provision of high pressure jetting to clean the built up residues.
