Brian leads Hardman’s research coverage of financials stocks and investment funds. His work includes a regular publication on Retail Bonds and he is often asked to speak at investment conferences.
He has had a 20 year career in financial services, including over a decade as a fund manager. He started as a trainee actuary, followed with a spell in academia, where he completed his actuarial qualification and gained a PhD in Applied Probability. At SVM Asset Management he specialized in analysing financial services companies as well as managing two traded endowment funds, an equity fund, and working on hedge funds and the quantitative risk management function.
