A UK technology company pioneering hydrogen production from waste plastic and used tyres has received independent technical assurance certification for its waste to power and waste to hydrogen technology processes.
PowerHouse Energy Group (LON:PHE) has developed a process technology, known as DMG®, to convert waste plastic, end-of-life tyres and other wastes into EcoSynthesis gas, which can be used to create valuable products such as chemical precursors, hydrogen, electricity and other industrial products. The DMG® process can generate in excess of one tonne of road-fuel quality hydrogen and more than 28 megawatt hours of exportable electricity per day.
