Decommissioning of TAQA Exhaust Stack case study

Executive Summary

TAQA commissioned Augean North Sea Services (ANSS) to provide Complete Waste Management Services for any and all of their UKCS assets, including the provision of decommissioning and NORM decontamination services.

Project Scope

ANSS were contracted to supply cleaning and recycling services for the TAQA Tern Exhaust Stack. The item was transported directly to our dedicated PPC and RSA Permitted decommissioning and NORM
decontamination facilities in the Port of Dundee for the removal and disposal of any potential contaminants and ultimately the recycling of the exhaust stack.
