Dekel Agri-Vision PLC reported on Monday an annual increase in its production of crude palm oil and palm kernel oil at its Ayenouan palm oil project in Ivory Coast. in May.
The West Africa-focused agricultural society said crude palm oil production jumped to 5,306 tonnes in May from 2,167 tonnes the previous year, but fell 14% from the 6 179 tons from April. The average price of crude palm oil fell 9.8% in May, to 953 euros per tonne, from 1,056 euros a year ago, and 2.4% from 976 euros in April .
Palm kernel oil production jumped 94% to 320 tonnes from 165 tonnes a year ago, but fell 16% from 382 tonnes in April.
