Device Authority wins 2024 IoT HealthTech Innovation Award for KeyScaler-as-a-Service solution

Device Authority has been honoured with the 2024 IoT HealthTech Innovation Award by IoThinkTank for their innovative KeyScaler-as-a-Service (KSaaS) solution. This award recognises significant advancements in IoT technologies that enhance patient care and data security within the HealthTech sector.

Addressing the rising security challenges in healthcare, Device Authority’s KeyScaler-as-a-Service tackles the growing attack surface caused by the exponential increase in connected devices. KSaaS automates the identity lifecycle management of these devices, ensuring comprehensive device and data trust. Since its founding in 2013, Device Authority has been at the forefront of addressing these security issues, enabling organisations to innovate with confidence.

KeyScaler-as-a-Service is a cloud-based solution that eliminates human error, mitigates risk, and accelerates incident response. It provides robust IoT edge security through its KeyScaler Edge module by automating device authentication, data encryption, and lifecycle management. Additionally, the KeyScaler AI module meets NIST’s Zero Trust standards, ensuring data trust for AI models.

Device Authority has garnered recognition for its impact and achievements. In 2023, it was named the Rising Azure Technology Partner of the Year and has maintained a leadership position in the Quadrant Spark Matrix for IoT Identity Access Management for four consecutive years. The company’s mission is to advance IoT technologies in HealthTech by ensuring the secure and scalable management of IoT devices, protecting patient data, and enhancing trust in digital health solutions.

Kyle Detro, Founder of IoThinkTank, expressed his pride in honouring Device Authority with the award. He praised their KeyScaler-as-a-Service solution as a prime example of the innovative spirit and commitment to security necessary for advancing the IoT landscape in healthcare.

Device Authority CEO Darron Antill commented on the award, stating that it is a testament to their strong track record in the healthcare and medical space. He emphasised their ongoing innovation to stay ahead of threats and protect connected medical devices. Antill highlighted that their solution allows organisations to securely use cutting-edge connected technology at scale, which has a significant impact on patient health. He expressed delight that this has been recognised with the award.
