Gold futures rise

Gold futures traded higher on Monday, January 24, while silver rates fell amid muted global cues.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold futures, due for a February 4 delivery, were last seen 0.26 per cent up at ₹ 48,375, compared to the previous close of ₹ 48,249.

Silver futures due for a March 4 delivery were last seen 0.11 per cent lower at ₹ 64,733 against the previous close of ₹ 64,806.
