Concurrent Technologies introduced its new Hermes I/O intensive plug-in card in the 3U VPX package .
Designed to comply with the SOSA technical standard, this plug-in card provides a foundation for building system-level solutions , both internally and for external system integrators. Applications that it can service include situational awareness , command and control, mission computing, and robust storage.
It is based on the 13th generation Intel Core i7-13800HRE microprocessor , a powerful chip conceived from the ground up to equip IoT systems at the edge of the network , which has fourteen processing cores, six of which They are of the P-Core type, and the remaining eight are E-Core, with twenty execution threads, and with the capacity to model their speed according to the energy they consume, to adapt to each specific mission.
In addition, this CPU offers three times more accelerator engines and twice the memory capacity compared to its predecessor.
Concurrent Technologies plc (LON:CNC) designs and manufactures a range of computing products for use in critical embedded applications. The Company was established in 1985 with the majority of products being high performance Single Board Computers (SBC’s) based on Intel® CPU technology.
