Lighthouse Group PLC New Affinity Contract Win

Lighthouse Group plc (LON:LGT), the national financial adviser of choice for Middle Britain, with 19 affinity relationships representing over 6 million members, has today announced that it has agreed a new contract with The Social Workers Union to be the preferred provider of financial advice to its members.

The contract will initially run for 18 months and Lighthouse will be the preferred provider of financial advice to members of The Social Workers Union, encompassing advice on savings, investments, pensions and protection, plus mortgages.

The Social Workers Union is a trade union dedicated to social work professionals and currently has 12,000 members.

This new contract further extends a growing list of affinity partnerships for Lighthouse, which includes major employee organisations such as UNISON, Unite, BA Clubs, Prospect, The Fire Brigades Union and the Royal College of Nursing, highlighting Lighthouse’s capacity to deliver financial planning solutions to a diverse and substantial audience.

John McGown, General Secretary at The Social Workers Union, commented: “We are delighted to have secured this contract with Lighthouse, as this will allow our members access to financial planning assistance on a national basis and across a broad range of financial topics, helping them to make the most of financial planning opportunities.”
