One Health Group strengthens its position with AIM market debut

Sheffield-based One Health Group has reached a new milestone in its growth trajectory by successfully transitioning from the Aquis market to the AIM market. This strategic move has enabled the company to complete a significant £7.8 million capital raise, which will fund the development of its first owned surgical hub. Expected to be operational within a year of construction, the hub is projected to generate between £6 million and £9 million in annual revenue.

CEO Adam Binns described the listing as a transformative step in the company’s journey, reinforcing its commitment to delivering NHS-aligned healthcare services through patient-focused surgical hubs. He emphasised that this milestone, supported by a successful capital raise and strong institutional investor confidence, will drive strategic expansion while upholding the company’s mission to reduce patient waiting times and maintain clinical excellence.

Binns also highlighted the integration of operational efficiency and technological advancements in the forthcoming surgical hub, ensuring a positive impact on NHS patients and the wider healthcare system. He expressed gratitude to independent accountancy firm BHP for its instrumental role in the flotation process, acknowledging the firm’s expertise in IFRS and technical consultancy, as well as its collaborative approach in navigating the complexities of the listing.

Alex Hird, partner at BHP and leader of the Financial Reporting, Advisory and Valuations (FRAV) team, commended One Health Group’s sustained growth since its inception. He noted that after the company’s admission to the Aquis Stock Exchange in 2022, the move to AIM was a logical step in unlocking further growth capital. Hird emphasised the importance of regulatory compliance and expert guidance in such transitions and expressed confidence in One Health Group’s continued success and positive contributions to the healthcare sector.
