Pennant International, a Gloucestershire-based firm that provides training and systems support to defence and aerospace companies, has appointed a new director. The company is set to hold its annual general meeting later today. The board has announced the appointment of Jon Kempster as an independent non-executive director. Kempster will also chair the audit and risk committee.
With over 20 years of experience as a public company director, Jon Kempster is currently a non-executive director of AIM-quoted companies Norman Broadbent and Synectics. Additionally, he serves as a director of Delta Pension Nominees Limited. Jon qualified as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse in 1990 and has held numerous board positions in both executive and non-executive roles. His previous roles include positions at FireAngel Safety Technology Group, Redcentric, Frasers Group, and DX (Group) Limited.
