Serinus Energy, a premier energy business, successfully reconditioned Tunisia’s Sabria oil reserve on Monday, marking a major milestone in the country’s energy sector.
Serinus is an upstream oil and gas exploration and production business with assets in Tunisia and Romania. Sabria is a huge conventional oil field estimated by independent reservoir engineers at Serinus to contain around 445 million barrels of oil equivalent hydrocarbons initially in place, of which only 1.6% has been produced to far.
Despite 3.5 days of downtime owing to high winds, Serinus claimed the workover was completed on time and within budget. She also stated that the Compagnie Tunisienne de Forage staff performed admirably and that the CTF-004 rig encountered no major downtime.
