Event
About 2,500 people attended a student-led anti-government demonstration at Bangkok’s democracy monument on 18 July, the largest protest in months. Two days later, another protest, attended by about 200 people, took place near the army’s Bangkok headquarters, while on 24 July, student activists burned pictures of Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-o-cha outside government house in the capital.
