There are 300 million vehicles on India’s roads. The light-category vehicles like mopeds and tuk-tuks are rapidly being electrified, an opportunity that British company Saietta is aiming to capitalise on. Saietta is developing e-motor manufacturing capability at scale in the UK. Known as the axial flux motor, this case study demonstrates the value of being awarded a grant from the Advanced Propulsion Centre.
Saietta Group plc (LON:SED) is a multi-national business which designs, engineers and manufactures complete Light Duty and Heavy Duty electric drive (eDrive) systems for electric vehicles on land from scooters to buses (vehicle categories L, M, N and T) as well as marine applications.
