WH Ireland Analyst John Cummins talks about Versarien plc LON:VRS this morning to DirectorsTalk saying: “Versarien yesterday held a site visit to recently acquired AAC Cyroma in Banbury. In addition to providing an opportunity to see the AAC Cyroma site, the focus of the day was centred around the Group’s exciting position in the emerging graphene space.
Key takeaways were: 1) Versarien demonstrated the strength of its position in the potentially sizeable graphene market given its IP and technical knowhow, backed by recently published test results from the University of Manchester, 2) the enlarged group has already manufactured graphene-enhanced plastics since the acquisition a few weeks ago, 3) AAC Cyroma is a well-established and well invested business providing a route to market and ownership of the supply chain.
The visit and presentations reaffirmed our belief that Versarien is extremely well positioned to capitalise on this highly disruptive technology over the coming years through a management team with a proven track record.”
