Home ownership remains an aspiration for many, yet it’s getting more and more difficult for some of the UK’s most valued professionals to take the first step onto the ladder.
Exclusive new findings reveal that key workers with up to 10 years’ experience are being priced out of seven regions across England and Wales. This is according to My Home Move that found the likelihood of workers – such as nurses, teachers, firefighters, police officers, paramedics and social workers – being able to afford a home outright in the East Midlands, East of England, Home Counties, South East, South West and West Midlands falls to below 30%.
