What is the plan for the promotion of gas production in Argentina?

The national government launched the Gas Production Promotion Plan with which it will launch a new supply and demand scheme in the next four years, and with which it will seek to substitute imports for around US $ 5,629 million and promote investments for at least another US $ 5 billion from the private sector.

The new scheme presented by President Alberto Fernández and the Minister of Economy, Martín Guzmán, from the Neuquén formation of Vaca Muerta, foresees a total fiscal cost of US $ 5,062 million until 2024, with a fiscal saving of US $ 2,574 million, and an increase in the projected collection of US $ 2,525 million .
