INTERVIEW: Hardman & Co – Housebuilding sector could be a bumpy road in 2017

Hardman & Co Research Analyst Tony Williams talks about the housebuilding sector for 2016/17. Tony explains what happened during 2016, where we are now in terms of peak value, which companies did well and which didn’t, the resignation of Bovis Homes Group Plc CEO David Ritchie, what has happened in 2017 and what we should expect for the rest of the year.

The Board of Bovis Homes Group PLC (LON:BVH) announced on the 9th Jan 2017 that David Ritchie, Chief Executive, has notified the Group of his intention to leave the Company. David will step down as Chief Executive of the Group and as a Board Director with immediate effect but will remain with the Group until 28 February 2017 to assist with the process of transition.
