A teenager who has been stricken by arthritis since she was just two years old has won millions in compensation following a delay in diagnosis.
University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust admitted liability for the blunder and agreed to pay the girl a £2 million lump sum.
Judge Graham Wood QC said the girl, who cannot be identified, began to suffer from juvenile idiopathic arthritis before her third birthday.
