A Caithness battery manufacturer has made “good progress” in the last six months and intends to set out its vision for the next stage of growth in March.
AMTE Power plc, a leading UK developer and manufacturer of lithium-ion and sodium-ion battery cells for specialist markets, has recruited a new chief executive and chief financial officer and secured additional financing for the business during the first half of the financial year.
The company’s existing cell manufacturing facility in Thurso provides manufacturing capacity to secure contracts for the Ultra Safe and Ultra Prime cells.
