BCA Pulse – prices rise in strong August market

Average used car values rose by £234 (2.4%) across the board at BCA during August 2018, as the company reported a strong trading month even with the holiday season in full swing and the continued exceptionally hot weather.

With the summer of 2018 now officially confirmed as having the joint warmest average temperature on record in the UK, used car values at BCA defied seasonal pressures and rose alongside the mercury to reach £9,697 in August, the second highest average monthly figure on record at BCA.
