BCA Fleet Solutions opens new appraisal and refurbishment facility with BMW UK

BCA Fleet Solutions has opened a facility for BMW UK to manage the appraisal and refurbishment of up to 55,000 vehicles a year.

The new facility provides onsite SMART repair, paint facilities and alloy wheel refurbishment. It also hosts a transportation hub and a customer service department that serves all BCA Fleet Solutions customers.

The facility based at Geddington Road in Corby was completed in just eight weeks. The works included the development of new offices, workshops and a repair centre and were undertaken as a result of the five-year auto services solutions contract that BMW UK and BCA announced in August.

The site features many technology innovations including the deployment of RFID (radio frequency identification) which allows each vehicle to be tracked while on site in real time. The Geddington Road facility is designed to meet rigorous environmental standards, and the valeting centre recycles 100% of its water usage.
