Tony Murfin, a Wireman at Crestchic’s Burton HQ workshop, has raised £13,175 for the Air Ambulance thanks to his involvement in decorating homes and streetlamps with over 13-thousand lights along Lansdowne Road, Branston, Burton-upon-Trent, in Staffordshire.
The festive season started early for Tony and his neighbours as the mammoth task of setting up the lights began at the end of October. “There’s around 33 households that get involved in this project,” began Tony. “I’ve been doing this for the last four years now and it does bring our community together – the kids love it!”
“There’s even an old guy who’s about to turn 101 and we decorate his house for him so he could be included in the festivities.”
