Appointment of consultant Engineers and Letters of Intent |
n Edenville Energy has appointed a consultant mining engineer with over 20 years’ experience and a strong background of putting mines into production, having developed and operated mines in Africa, Australia, Europe and the UK.
n The Company has also appointed a consultant coal processing engineer to oversee the construction and operation of the wash plant and supervise the training of local Tanzanians. He has 12 years of experience in the construction and operation of coal washing plants. n The Company has letters of intent and expressions of interest received from several parties regarding the potential purchase of coal on a long-term basis. While at present no assurances can be given that these documents will result in formal sales contracts, Edenville is conservatively planning for orders of 5,000t to 8,000t per month, with the ability to increase production as appropriate. n The coal wash plant is to be prepared for shipping by March and transported to Tanzania by early-April. Once it’s on site, construction is expected to take six to eight weeks. In the meantime the Company is using a small scale local crusher to process its coal. |
