One of the people behind the UK’s largest city centre regeneration project is to speak at Insider’s Nottingham Economic Forum.
The important role the £1bn Island Quarter scheme is playing in transforming Nottingham into a highly attractive, highly sustainable city will be discussed by Tom Huffsmith, who is managing the project for developer Conygar.
Homes, offices, a hotel, bars, restaurants, entertainment and green spaces will be created at the 26-acre site as part of a ten-year masterplan. The scheme’s first attraction, Binks Yard bar and grill headed up by MasterChef: The Professionals champion Laurence Henry, opened in September.
Conygar Investment Company PLC (LON:CIC) is an AIM quoted property investment and development group dealing primarily in UK property.
