A new factory which has been built at a Burton firm is creating 35 new jobs. Electrical testing equipment specialists Crestchic, which is based in Second Avenue on the Centrum 100 Business Park, marked the opening of its factory with a special ceremony attended by former BBC TV journalist John Pienaar. Also there was Mayor of East Staffordshire Philip Hudson.
The company, which was founded in 1983, tests and air conditions load banks from 20kW up to 7000kW, which are electrical testing devices used to produce dummy loads for power supplies for clients across the world, including the British Army and US Navy in San Diego, California
