Now the life-sized Lego recreation of Midlands music star Noddy Holder has been relocated to The Alexandra theatre to continue raising funds.
With selfie-snappers encouraged to donate to the children’s hospital’s ‘Moments of Magic’ campaign, the 42,000-Lego brick statue has so far raised £4,623.
The colourful sculpture was commissioned by Retail BID Birmingham, the Business Improvement District for the city centre retail area. It was built by Bright Bricks, the UK’s only specialist Lego builders, taking 260 hours to complete.
