NEBA Private Clients strengthens leadership with new partner appointments

NEBA Private Clients, a division of TEAM PLC with operations in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, South Africa, Malaysia, and Singapore, has recently appointed Ben Stubberfield, Ciprian Bratu, and Craig Penketh as partners. This move signifies an important step forward for the firm, reflecting its commitment to enhancing its financial services by integrating the global expertise of these new partners.

Ben Stubberfield, who will be based in the Middle East, joins NEBA after his tenure as a private wealth advisor at Skybound Wealth Management. His background in managing wealth for high-net-worth individuals, particularly in complex financial planning and investment management, brings valuable insight to the team.

Ciprian Bratu, the managing partner at Bratu Capita in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, also joins the ranks, bringing with him extensive experience in providing financial guidance and support. His expertise is expected to play a crucial role in expanding NEBA’s reach in Southeast Asia.

Craig Penketh, formerly a senior financial planner at Acuma, has over 13 years of experience in the UAE, specialising in high-net-worth wealth management, complex financial planning, and investment management. His addition further strengthens NEBA’s presence in the Middle East.

John Beverley, the founder and CEO of NEBA, highlighted the growing trend of wealth migration due to increasing tax pressures in countries like the UK. As more individuals and families relocate to more favourable tax environments such as the UAE and Singapore, NEBA’s expertise in managing the financial affairs of expatriates across various nationalities becomes increasingly valuable. Beverley expressed confidence in the new partners, noting that their decision to join NEBA is a testament to the firm’s robust market position and its ability to attract top talent.

He also hinted at future expansions, suggesting that additional senior hires are expected in the coming months as NEBA continues to grow across its key markets. The firm is poised to further solidify its position as a leader in the financial services industry, catering to the unique needs of expatriates and high-net-worth individuals globally.
