Norcros appoints former Dyson MD as Independent Non-Executive Director

Norcros, a renowned supplier of bathroom products, is set to appoint Rebecca DeNiro, a former Managing Director at Dyson, as an Independent Non-Executive Director. This appointment will take effect from 1 July 2024.

Currently, DeNiro holds Non-Executive Director positions at several leading consumer and leisure brands, including the Manchester-based outdoor brand Regatta Ltd, Ribble Cycles Ltd, the prominent British shoe brand Clarks, and the vegetable box supplier Riverford Organic Farmers. Her extensive experience also includes serving as CEO and main board Director of Pure Electric.

DeNiro’s notable tenure at Dyson Limited, an international technology-driven consumer products manufacturer, saw her lead teams for ten years. As the Managing Director for Great Britain and Ireland, she played a pivotal role in driving transformational growth, particularly as Dyson ventured into the beauty and purification markets. Her unconventional strategy for launching Dyson’s haircare products achieved 60 points of value share within six weeks.

Steve Good, the Board Chair of Norcros plc, expressed his enthusiasm for DeNiro’s appointment, highlighting that she was chosen after an extensive recruitment process due to her proven business leadership and relevant experience. He welcomed her to the team, acknowledging her credentials and the breadth of her expertise.

Rebecca DeNiro shared her excitement about joining Norcros, praising the company’s distinct design-led product portfolio and its effective collaboration across the group.
