With National Tea Day on Sunday 21st April, new research has revealed the professions that brew up the most in a day.

The study by sofa and carpet specialist, ScS, can reveal that out of the staggering 45 million Brits who drink tea, roughly five cups are consumed per day, per person. That’s 225 million cups of tea being gulped down every day in the UK.

And electricians are revealed to be the biggest tea drinkers, drinking a staggering eleven cups of tea in a day on average!
