Touchstone Exploration continues to capitalise on new opportunities, expanding its exploration portfolio to an impressive 137,312 working interest acres. Each property within its portfolio represents a calculated investment designed to unlock substantial energy resources while driving long-term, sustainable growth.
Ortoire has been a major success, with three exploration wells already yielding over 53,030 Mboe of 2P reserves. Covering 29,560 net acres, this block remains a high-potential asset with 14 identified prospects targeting the prolific Herrera fairway and the deep Cretaceous formation.
Cipero spans 23,939 net acres and offers significant exploration opportunities within the Retrench and Herrera sands at depths ranging from 4,500 to 10,000 feet. Deeper prospects within the Cretaceous formation extend beyond 13,500 feet, presenting further untapped potential.
Charuma holds 58,227 net acres of exploration prospects, with Nariva sands available at depths of 2,000 to 5,000 feet and additional targets in the Cretaceous formation at depths exceeding 7,000 feet. This acreage enhances Touchstone’s ability to diversify its exploration reach.
The Rio Claro licence, finalised on November 5, 2024, encompasses 25,586 net acres adjacent to the Ortoire block. This strategic addition surrounds the Balata East field and strengthens Touchstone’s foothold in the Herrera Formation fairway. Proprietary seismic data confirms the extension of key geological structures from Ortoire, including the Royston anomaly in the Herrera Formation and the Kraken anomaly in the Cretaceous Formation, into this newly acquired acreage.
