Thirty-three businesses from across the Midlands are among the 252 recipients of the prestigious King’s Awards for Enterprise 2024.
These businesses span the region, representing sectors as diverse as 3D printing in Warwickshire and giftware in Lincolnshire.
The Midlands boasts two of only five companies nationally to have received awards in more than one category.
The award winners were recognised across all four categories:
- Innovation – 11
- International Trade – 18
- Promoting Opportunity (through Social Mobility) – 1
- Sustainable Development – 3
Triton Showers, a division of Norcros Group, received the King’s Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development.
The King’s Awards for Enterprise, previously known as The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, were renamed last year to reflect His Majesty The King’s commitment to continuing the legacy of HM Queen Elizabeth II by recognising outstanding UK businesses. Now in its 58th year, the award programme is the most prestigious business accolade in the country, with successful businesses able to use the esteemed King’s Awards Emblem for the next five years.
