UK shares end higher

UK equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Food & Drug Retailers, Software & Computer Services and General Retailers sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in London, the Investing.com United Kingdom 100 gained 0.26%.

GBP/USD was unchanged 0.33% to 1.24, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.21% to 0.88.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 102.01.
