UK stocks extend positive streak for sixth session

U.K. stocks finished higher Tuesday, with the FTSE 100 Index UKX, -0.42% growing 0.17% at 7,691.80.

Among FTSE 100 constituents, non-ferrous metals company Antofagasta PLC ANTO, -1.21% saw the largest increase Tuesday, as shares increased 6.59%.

Shares of general mining firm Anglo American PLC AAL, -1.68% and chemicals company Croda International PLC CRDA, -1.42% increased 4.83% and 4.73%, respectively.
