Union Jack Oil reports Positive Results from Andrews 1-17 Well in Oklahoma

Union Jack Oil plc sounded positive after drilling the Andrews 1-17 well to 4,600ft on the West Bowlegs prospect in Seminole County, Oklahoma.

The target Hunton Limestone was penetrated at 4,200ft, showing “high porosity and elevated gas readings, with good reservoir quality” interpreted on the wireline logs.

Operator Reach Oil & Gas Inc has demobilised the rig and is scheduled to test Andrews 1-17 within the next 14 days.

Union Jack, with 45% working interest in the well, has paid drilling and completion costs from its cash resources.
