In September the average used car cost £12,853, according to the latest Auto Trader Retail Price Index, a 5 percent increase on September 2017.
According to Auto Trader, used values have risen from £8,997 in 2011 to a year to date figure of £12,731, a 42% rise. Over the same period the average new price has gone up by 19 percent from £21,911 to £26,105.
Marshall Motors Holdings principal activities are the sale and repair of new and used vehicles. The Group’s businesses comprise a total of 101 franchises covering 23 brands, operating from 84 locations across 26 counties in England. In addition, the Group operates five trade parts specialists, three used car centres, five standalone body shops and one pre delivery inspection centre.
