Plans to transform a Nottingham site that has been derelict for 26 years have taken a step forward as work begins to clear the area.
Developers Conygar gained outline planning permission for the £650m development at Boots Island in April 2019 and work is now starting to prepare the site, which will be transformed as part of the regeneration of the southern side of the city.
Boots Island, which sits between Manvers Street at the bottom of Sneinton and London Road, behind BioCity and the BBC Nottingham buildings, has been derelict since 1994.
Conygar Investment Company PLC (LON:CIC) is an AIM quoted property investment and development group dealing primarily in UK property.
