Vipera PLC client Iccrea Banking Group with KPMG uses its product platform for latest mobile application

Vipera (AIM:VIP), the specialist provider of mobile financial services, has told DirectorsTalk that its customer Iccrea Banking Group, has launched a new mobile application, managed and deployed in collaboration with KPMG.

The new application, MyCartaBCC for Iccrea Group’s credit card CartaBCC, managed by ICCREA BANCA will now provide its customers with a range of functions and services accessible on their smartphone, ensuring an enhanced and more secure customer experience.

Additional features include real time alerts on card transactions, the ability to control where and how their card is used – including a temporary card lock security feature – and enrollment in a new loyalty program, PremiaTi, which will provide the bank’s customers with a range of targeted and exclusive retail offers.

The application is deployed on MOTIF, Vipera’s propriety digital financial services multi-purpose platform, characterised by a lightweight, flexible and scalable architecture and ease of integration to enterprise environments.

Geolocation services will ensure that customers of the regional network of the 372 banks that form the Iccrea Group, will enjoy a highly localised and personalised experience with local branch and ATM locator functions and in future releases, local retail and points of interest promotions.

Marco Casartelli, CEO of Vipera, commented: “We are very pleased to have delivered successful products and services to Iccrea in conjunction with KPMG. Our platform allows both established and challenger banks to deliver superior customer services via their mobile banking applications. We look forward to our continuing relationship with Iccrea.”

Laura Servadei, Head of Marketing Credit Card BCC, commented“The collaboration with KPMG and Vipera has ensured effectiveness, speed and continual improvement in our customer propositions, while ensuring the growth of digital skills for the team of professionals in our group”
