A final decision on a £300m scheme to transform the former Boots Island site in Nottingham into almost 1,000 homes, office space, retail units, a five-star hotel and hundreds of student flats is set to be made next week.
Proposals for the 40-acre site, which has lain derelict for many years, were revealed last year when an outline planning application was submitted to Nottingham City Council by Conygar Investment Company.
The project includes 907 houses and flats, a total of 633,832 sq ft of office space, a 194-bedroom hotel, 11,000 sq ft of retail space and 666 student bedrooms.
